Contact UsHow our pricing works
ChronoLaw charges per page processed, giving your firm complete control over costs. A “page” is one page of an uploaded document, whether that is a single page in a PDF, a paragraph section in a DOCX file, or one sheet in an XLSX spreadsheet. The page count is shown at upload time, before any processing begins.
Each plan includes a monthly page allowance suited to different firm sizes and caseloads. Solo practitioners handling a handful of cases per month will find the Starter plan sufficient, while multi-fee-earner teams processing large medical bundles regularly can choose a higher tier with a lower per-page cost. If your caseload varies month to month, the pay-per-page option lets you process documents without a fixed commitment. You pay only for what you use.
All plans include the full feature set: AI-powered extraction, confidence scoring, court bundle generation, case chat, export templates, and the solicitor review interface. The only difference between plans is the monthly page allowance and the effective per-page rate. There are no feature gates or premium add-ons.
FAQ
Pricing questions
Everything you need to know about plans, billing, and page credits. If your question is not covered here, get in touch at support@chronolaw.co.uk.
What counts as a page?
Each page of an uploaded document counts as one page credit. For PDFs, every page in the file counts individually. For DOCX files, each paragraph section is treated as one page. For XLSX spreadsheets, each sheet counts as one page. The page count is calculated at upload time and shown before processing begins, so there are no surprises.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you get access to the higher page allowance and any additional features straight away. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep your current plan benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens if I exceed my page allowance?
When you reach your monthly page allowance, further uploads are paused until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade to a higher plan. Your dashboard shows a usage meter so you can monitor consumption throughout the month. If your usage varies, the pay-per-page option lets you process pages without a fixed cap.
Do unused pages roll over?
No. Page credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. We recommend choosing a plan that matches your typical monthly caseload. If your usage varies significantly from month to month, the pay-per-page option may be a better fit.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to all features, including AI extraction, court bundle generation, and case chat. No payment card is required to start your trial. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time during or after the trial period.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings within the dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for. There are no cancellation fees or lock-in contracts.
Do you offer annual pricing?
Yes. All plans are available with monthly or annual billing. Annual billing saves 20% compared to paying monthly. Use the toggle at the top of the pricing table to see annual prices.
Is VAT included?
Prices shown on this page are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added at the applicable rate for UK businesses (currently 20%) and will be itemised on your invoice. If your firm is VAT-registered, you can reclaim this as an input tax deduction.
